The Montagne Sweater is an advanced level knitting project. This project is worked in one piece in the round in two colors. It is worked from the top down, which means you will begin at the neck, continue to work the yoke in jacquard until you reach the armholes, then you will divide the work into three parts to work the body and the two sleeves separately. The colorwork is done using the jacquard technique. If you like a challenge, this project is for you! We are sure that the finished sweater will become a favorite in your handmade collection.

I bought the Banksia sweater kit to knit for my son but haven't started knitting it yet until I finish the Classic sweater for my niece. My son loved the pattern on the Banksia and is looking forward to its creation.

Cons:
The English version of the pattern is missing sleeve instructions 😅 (figured it out based on the pictures but still...)
As any sizing on the site, it was a bit weird - made a large and it fits like a medium... So just keep that in mind :)

I made the Lovely Sweater while on a trip to Oregon to visit with family. Touch Me Mohair is so light and I was able to easily take all the skeins with me on the plane. Because it is such a simple pattern, it was very easy to make and not have to pay a lot of attention to an intricate stitch pattern.
I get a lot of compliments when I wear it, and several, “can you make me one?” comments.
I am usually a size 6 and I knit the size medium :) The fit came out just right. I did have to make the sleeves longer (I knit 51 rows for each sleeve so I divided the increases by the number of rows to figure out the increase). Would definitely recommend it :)
